Ugh!Thats how I feel after this last weekend.We had a booth in the Shawnee Mall (Black Friday -Saturday)The only thing that comes to mind is What the Hell was I thinking?LOL!People are crazy!We saw everything from actual fist fights to shop lifters...I will never...never....never do another show on Black Friday again!The sad thing is that Cyber Monday was so...much better for us.

Here I am this morning coffee in hand going to wake up Wyatt for school & what happens he flys by me to get to the bathroom to get sick.This kid is putting more grey hair on my head than Amber ever did at that age.I think this is his 7th day he has been absent from school.

If I ever get all of my online orders caught up I think it will be a miracle.Not that I'm complaining about the money,I just didn't think I would have a sick kid at home today...b/c Wyatt is the biggest baby when he is sick!

Catching Up

I have been sooo busy here latley & haven't had time to post.This is my buisiest time of the year between shows & little league football..We try & do a show every weekend from Sept up to the weekend before Christmas,so as you can image I am swampped...

After last weekends craft fair I decided NOT to do one this weekend.It was Wyatts 1st football game of the year on Saturday.Actually he played 2 games,he played his game & then he played for the 6th grade team...he lost his game but the 6th grade won..Here are some pics,Johnathan is showing Wyatt how to get his mean on..

Now its back to business for this upcoming week! I'll be adding close to 40 new scents this week :)

Craft Fair Disaster

We are attending a craft fair this weekend & it could possibly be the worst event I have ever done.We started off the day with a guy setting up next to us & he played his guitar & sang for 2 hours straight..oh & did I mention there were only 12 people through the doors all day.Oh no I can't forgot the lady across the rooms little dog running around hiking his leg on everything.I don't even want to go into the money I made (lack of)....what is wrong with people?

The sad thing is that I have to return tomorrow....I think I'll make Wyatt go with me,at least I'll have someone to talk too...

Oklahoma Weather

My son Wyatt has been bugging me to put up the tent in the front yard.Finally yesterday I gave in & put it up...I had watched the weather & no chance of rain until Thursday.WRONG!!! In the early AM hours it starts to shower within minutes its pouring down!!The thunder was sooo loud...of course I am the only one concerned because Wyatt is snoozing right through the whole thing..finally 3 hours later Wyatt gets up & says" wow it rained" all I could say was ya think.I mean how in the heck can a person sleep through a thunder storm.I'm just glad my 3yr old decide to sleep in the house.

And to the weatherman geez how did ya miss that one?

Bad Day!!

Has anyone ever had a bad experience with a buyer? Let me tell you it will make you sick!I woke up this morning to a neg.&neutral feedback in my Etsy shop from a sale back in July..This buyer never contacted me in the almost 2 months since she purchased...she instead just left me bad feedback.

#1 if you buy candles you need to read that little sticker on the bottom that tells you to keep the wicks trimmed....then they won't smoke!

#2 if you have a package coming (that you know is coming)make arrangements to pick it up,don't leave it on the porch for hours & hours & hours & hours (in July )

The bad thing is that this feedback can NOT be fixed & in the end is only hurting me.....

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Growing Up

Yesterday was my 10yr old son Wyatts first day in the 5th grade..He was so nervous! He refused to let me take a picture,he did let me drive him to the school although I was told I couldn't get out of the truck.No kiss or hug goodbye :(

After school he got off the bus & ran up the drive ,went right by me & headed for the frig.With a Gatorade in one hand & package of ham in the other he turned around & gave me a hug. He started laughing & said we are at home now so I can hug ya.

He got half way upstairs & yelled oh ya I got a girlfriend to...UGH!

My 3yr old JT looked up at me & said mom I got a girlfriend . I asked him whos your girlfriend? He said Dora.LOL! I think he watches to much Dora & Diego...

Gosh my kids are growing up so...fast

Next year JT will be in Pre K !

Due to 1 nosey ass person who thought they new the law in Oklahoma I had taken most of my soap listings down from my Etsy site.Since I have been in contact(again & again) with the Oklahoma Department of Health & have been reasured that I DO NOT need a license to make soap in the state of Oklahoma.In the early 60's Oklahoma changed this law....

I will be relisting all of my items in the upcoming days...Everyone who makes bath & body products (no matter wich state you live in) beware of these people they are on a witch hunt & have way to much time on their hands...


I am a firm believer in What comes around goes around & these people will get whats coming to them sooner or later!
